I usually use the bloodhost of khorne battalion which if im lucky would mean skarbrand attacking twice per turn, possibly 3 times if i can keep him alive long enough to get 7 tithe points. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk. Same here! The moral since Blades of Khorne has become: 1. I need more Blood Warriors 3. Everybody wants to pick up that Gorechosen game! This is great though as I felt a lot of the Bloodbound Heroes where underrepresented and while 1 and 2 where allready very legit we also saw that a lot of players where still more often drawn towards Bloodletters and Marauders, logically as they still are great deals for their points.
What changed the most is that I feel the focus isn't that much put onto the Bloodsecrator anymore, which is a great thing. Simply said every Hero in the Gorechosen box has a legit function within the army.
I am also now very certain in picking up another copy of that game. My battleline mainly consists of bloodletters to hit hard and die quick and chaos warriors who work the other way round. I wish I hadn't ignored the blood warriors and skullreapers when i was deciding what to buy now. I'm new to the game and lazily picked units that seemed fairly straightforward to learn the rules for. I bought the gorechosen game the other day solely for the cheap heroes. Will eventually have to get the units i need for the gore pilgrims battalion, added to my bloodhost battalion i should have a decent looking list.
Don't forget that summoning allows you to ignore the rules for army composition once the game starts. So if you wanted an army with 5 bloodthirsters you could do this via summoning, without breaking the 4 Behemoth limit imposed for your beginning list.
